The i7 Board is proud to have secured a 4% shareholding in SB during September 2021. This was after a thorough due diligence, which included a number of meetings with founder members and management as well as a market study on blueberries, was undertaken.
Phase one comprising 45 Hectares of land (on the Saronsberg farm near Tulbach) secured by a long term lease, have been covered by nets and installed with complete pump and irrigation systems. 180 000 plants have been planted and the first crops were harvested in August 2022. Phase two is under construction with an additional 100 000 plants already delivered. Phase two and later three will take the business to 200 Hectares under nets over the next 2 years.
