i7 CAPITAL was originally formed in 2018 under VCC license number 0148 and registered with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) registration number 49610 to create and build an investment fund for discerning investors who wished to take advantage of the tax incentive offered in terms of Section 12J of the Income Tax Act.
Since our inception, we have managed to raise a significant amount of capital which have successfully been invested in 6 businesses with a view to produce capital growth for investors over the next 3-6 years.
Due to the sunset clause that was triggered on 30 June 2021, Section 12J was discontinued with the result that future investments would no longer qualify for the tax relief previously offered. All funds raised before this date remain invested in and managed according to the former 12J regulations.
